AL- Ahliyya Amman University organizes a “free drawing day” for orphans
Under the patronage of Dr. Nasser Abu Anzeh, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Career Office of the Deanship of Student Affairs at AL- Ahliyya Amman University has hosted (12) orphans from The Orphan Center at Al Baqaa Camp as part of Ibtisama project (Children’s Dreams) organized by Ruba Abu Adas, a student in the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The Project aims at developing students’ humane and social awareness by helping the orphans mingle with the University students and put a smile on their faces, in addition to teaching the orphans to make use of their talents through self-development. The children drew different drawings while students Yasmine, Zaid, and Hamza played the violin, the saxophone and the guitar. This all was photographed by Nader, a child with special needs from Ibdaa’ Center. At the end of the event, the Dean had lunch with the orphans in his office and presented gifts to them.
