Al-Ahliyya Amman University of Dentistry Participates in Training Workshop in Collaboration with the FDI World Dental Federation

A group of faculty members from Al-Ahliyya Amman University of Dentistry participated in a training workshop organized by the Jordanian Dental Association in collaboration with the FDI World Dental Federation (FDI). The workshop aimed to increase awareness of the vital role of dentistry in smoking cessation and reducing the risks associated with smoking. Faculty members from the College of Dentistry attended the workshop held at the training center of the Jordanian Dental Association on October 12, 2023, as part of the FDI project launched in 2020 to assist in smoking cessation. The workshop aimed to increase awareness of the critical role of dental professionals in smoking cessation, enhancing knowledge of the skills required for oral and dental health specialists to provide smoking cessation interventions in dental clinics.
