Al-Ahliyya Amman University Leads Jordanian Universities in the 2026 Interdisciplinary Science Rankings
Al-Ahliyya Amman University has achieved a significant academic milestone by ranking first among Jordanian universities in the Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026. The university secured the 117th position globally and the first position nationally.
This ranking is one of the most prominent international indicators measuring the ability of universities to produce interdisciplinary knowledge and strengthen research integration across scientific fields.
This qualitative advancement reflects the university’s strategic approach to promoting cross-disciplinary research, supporting collaborative research teams, and developing scientific infrastructure aligned with national innovation and development priorities. It also aligns with modern global ranking standards that increasingly value integrated knowledge. With this achievement, the university surpassed several major Jordanian institutions, reaffirming its leadership in the national research landscape.
Commenting on this accomplishment, Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, stated:
