Al-Ahliyya Amman University, King Abdullah II Fund, visits a nursing home

As part of Al-Ahliyya Amman University concern with continuous communication with the local community institutions and addressing the concerns of these institutions, King Abdullah II Fund, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, conducted a visit to the nursing home in Shafa Badran area within “A smile of hope” project for supporting the elderly. The visit was led by student Mohammed Fahmi Al-Khatib of the Faculty of Engineering. The visit aimed at developing the social sense among students, familiarizing with the circumstances of the elderly and affirming the importance of such communication, which fosters feelings of optimism and hope in the hearts of the elderly. Students had lunch with the elderly and presented symbolic gifts to them, which delighted and thrilled their hearts .
