Al-Ahliyya Amman University is the First University in the Middle East to Receive the Standard Platinum Award (the Five Platinum Crowns) from the British “ASIC” Organization for International Accreditation

During the official celebration that took place on the sideline of the International Conference on Education in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, Al-Ahliyya Amman University received the Standard Platinum Award from the British “ASIC” Organization for International Accreditation. AAU is the first university in the Middle East to receive the five platinum crowns in five main criteria: teaching quality & motivation for learning, employability, research, internationalization, learning environment, and cultural & social enhancement. On behalf of the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, Prof. Michael Swidan, the Vice President, received the certificate of evaluation. Prof. Sari Hamdan also received the Distinguished Leadership Award for Private Higher Education at the level of Asia and the Middle East. Furthermore, the “ASIC” President Dr. Maurice Dimok also handed the Cup of Educational Excellence to Dr. Anas Al-Saud, Assistant to the President for International Accreditation and Classification Affairs, for his distinguished efforts in promoting international education at the Middle East level. The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, affirmed that the University and its cadres supported by the Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, will work hard and diligently, as they always were to consolidate these achievements and to achieve more global excellence. It is noteworthy that AAU obtained a short time ago a four-star rating from the International Classification “QS” while the Faculty of Pharmacy obtained a five-star rating which makes it the first among its counterparts in Jordan. The University also ranked 301 globally in the Economic & Social Impact according to the “Times” World Ranking. Moreover, a number of specializations offered at the University obtained international accreditations, including the American Accreditation (ABET) for the Networks & Information Security Specialization.
