Al-Ahliyya Amman University is among the top 10 Jordanian universities and 91-100 Arabs according to the QS ranking of the best Arab universities for the year 2022
Al-Ahliyya Amman University maintained its tenth position among Jordanian universities in the QS classification of the best Arab universities for the year 2022, and ranked among 91-100 out of 1,300 Arab universities. It also maintained first place in the Arab world in the number of foreign students and the number of faculty members who obtained a doctorate degree.The University of Jordan topped the rankings of Jordanian universities, followed by the University of Science and Technology, Yarmouk, Princess Sumaya, the German, and the Hashemite University. The seventh place went for Al- Balqa Applied University followed by Mutah, Philadelphia and Al-Ahliyya Amman.Al-Ahliyya Amman University has maintained its position, while 8 universities have retreated from their previous positions: Yarmouk, Princess Sumaya for Technology, German-Jordanian, and Hashemite, Al-Hussein bin Talal, Al-Albayt, Al-Israa, and Al-Tafilah Technical.The Universities of Jerash and Islamic Sciences were released from the QS rankings for the best Arab universities for the year 2022.The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan, received the classification certificate during the QS Summit of Arab Universities 2022, which was held in Dubai, which was attended by His Excellency Dr. Omar Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, and His Excellency the President of the Accreditation Commission for Higher Education Institutions, Professor Dhafer Al-Sarayrah and Assistant President of the University for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anas Al-Saud.
