Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Works of the Final Workshop of the Master Program’s Project “Intelligent Transportation Systems”

Al-Ahliyya Amman University during the period 5-6/4/2016 held works of the Final Workshop of the Master Program’ Project for Intelligent Transportation Systems, which is funded by the Jordanian Union within Tempus Program, in which four Jordanian universities (Al-Ahliyya Amman University, University of Jordan, Science and Technology University, and the University of Mu’tah, and four Egyptian universities (Ain Shams, Menoufia, Al-Mena and Alexandria, will be involved in addition to the University of Ychobeng from Sweden, Zalania from Slovakia and Dunk from Poland. The program organizers have developed curricula specialized in Intelligent Transportation Systems as a program for the Master's Degree. Eight research papers were discussed at the workshop for the applications of Intelligent Transportation Systems, including Public Transport, Transport of Hazardous Materials, Traffic Safety Management, Organization of Traffic and Transport, and Logistics in Egypt, Jordan, Sweden, Poland and Slovakia. It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahliyya Amman University serves as a national coordinator for the work of this project. Specialists in the program and national institutions involved in transport and traffic have participated in this workshop.
