Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts thousands of orphans in a charity breakfast ceremonies during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Al-Ahliyya Amman University served many breakfasts during the holy month of Ramadan, where it hosted thousands of children from different social foundations concerned with orphan care. This comes as part of the University social responsibility to improve the spirit of cooperation and solidarity. Breakfast ceremonies started with a breakfast served by the Faculty of Engineering on 9/6/2016 by hosting 100 children from Ain Al-Basha Orphan Center with the participation of the teaching and administrative staff as well as the Faculty students.The Public and International Relations Department completed the activities of the holy month by “Happiness of Eid” breakfast in cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali, where it hosted over two days 230 children from Mahatta Orphans Welfare Charity Society with the participation of the Architecture and Design Faculty. The breakfast included a series of events including clothes for all children from Game Over shop, gifts, games, face painting, and a variety of song episodes.On the other hand, the Arena Complex hosted the event “To Make Our Orphans Happy” on 23/6/2016, which was the biggest group breakfast for five thousand orphans and their relatives all over the regions of the Kingdom.The University concluded the activities of the holy month by distributing food parcels to the needy people in Baq’a Camp and Ain Al-Basha under the supervision of Dr. Dana Amro and with the participation of the Interior Design Department students.
