Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts the second Iraqi poetry evening

Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted a group of Iraqi poets in the second poetry evening held on Nizar Qabani Theater. The evening was held under the patronage of HE Dr. Jawad Abbas, the Iraqi ambassador to Jordan, and HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University. A number of creative Iraqi poets participated in this poetry evening, and their works were well-received by the audience. At the end of the evening, awards and certificates were presented to the participant poets and those in charge of the ceremony. HE Dr. Sadeq Hamed presented the University Shield to HE Dr. Jawad Abbas, the Iraqi ambassador in Jordan in recognition of his efforts and sponsorship of the evening. The President of the University, Dr. Hamed, also presented certificates of acknowledgment to the Iraqi faculty members at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
