Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Iftar Banquet for 40 orphans

The Deanship of Student Affairs/ Career Qualification Office of King Abdullah II Fund hosted Iftar banquet for 40 orphans on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. This activity falls within Al-Ahliyya Amman University pursuit to expand the services offered by the University to the local community and within its Ramadan program hosted by the Career Qualification Office of King Abdullah II Fund to enhance communication with the community. The orphans performed art sketches, expressing their appreciation for this step which is attributed to the care dedicated by the leader of the country to orphans , and their appreciation for the kind gesture by Al-Ahliyya Amman University which participated in hosting Ramadan ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, gifts were presented to the children. These activities, which are promoted by Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, aim to develop social and humanitarian sense, promote nonviolent positive interaction between students, form individuals who are able to affiliate with their communities and their country, increase young people involvement in society, disseminate philanthropy and Islam traditions, and direct young people energy to positive action, especially as this event coincides with the advent of the Holy Month.
