Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Honoring Ceremony for Outstanding Saudi Students at Jordanian Universities

Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted a ceremony honoring outstanding Saudi students studying at Jordanian universities during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and was attended by Acting University President Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan, Acting Head of the Saudi Cultural Mission in Jordan Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Khuzaim Al-Shammari, as well as a number of university presidents, college deans, faculty members, and a group of outstanding Saudi students from various Jordanian universities. The ceremony honored 28 male and female students from Al-Ahliyya Amman University who are pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various fields, in recognition of their academic excellence and scholarly achievements. The ceremony opened with an address by Acting Head of the Saudi Cultural Mission in Jordan, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Khuzaim Al-Shammari, who highlighted the Saudi leadership’s commitment to supporting and caring for scholarship students and the Cultural Mission’s dedication to supporting their academic journeys. He praised the academic excellence achieved by Saudi students at Jordanian universities and emphasized the strong educational and academic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. For his part, Acting President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Ahmad Hamdan, welcomed the attendees and expressed the University’s pride in hosting the ceremony, which reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries. He also emphasized the importance of supporting outstanding students and encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence and innovation. He further highlighted the University’s commitment to providing an educational environment that fosters creativity, as well as its pride in the Saudi students studying at the University and in their outstanding academic achievements. He affirmed the University’s continued support for their academic journeys and its commitment to enhancing their university experience.
