Within Al-Ahliyya Amman University policy to communicate with the institutions of the local community, build bridges of cooperation in many areas and provide aid and assistance, the Deanship of Student Affairs/Office of Career Qualification of King Abdullah II Fund hosted entertainment day for children with cancer patients at King Hussein Cancer Center. A lunch ceremony was held for children in Burger’s King restaurant and several entertaining and funny sketches were presented to children to draw smile and joy on the faces of children and their mothers. The ceremony also included storytelling to children by students. At the end of the ceremony, gifts were presented to children. These celebrations aim to foster community communication and solidarity in an effort by the University to support children with cancer and draw smile on their faces. In the end of the celebration, King Hussein Cancer Center officers thanked the University, represented by its president Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, and praised the role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in effectively contributing to the revival of hope and creating joy in the hearts of children.
