Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Ceremony to Welcome New Students

With the start of the new academic year, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a reception ceremony for new students under the auspices of His Excellency President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, who congratulated the students for passing high school and starting the undergraduate stage in the University. He called the students to strive for excellence and achieve top ranks. He stressed that Al-Ahliyya Amman University, which is the first private university and leader of higher education in the region, offers more than thirty BA majors, provides modern technologies and creates the appropriate environment, which fosters the educational process, and includes an elite group of faculty members and administrative staff. AAU constantly strives for excellence in all areas, and undertakes a comprehensive study of all disciplines to cater to the requirements of the labor market. In his speech, the Dean of Student Affairs welcomed the new students and pointed out that the Deanship of Student Affairs is in charge of following up student activities and supervises their participation in external events and interaction in the community. At the end of the ceremony, gifts and brochures about the University were distributed to new students.
