Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts a workshop entitled “Cultivated Solutions for Treatment of Hearing Problems”.
Within A-Ahliyya Amman University efforts related to community service, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, the Hearing and Speech Department at the University, in collaboration with Al-Daffa Establishment (agent of Cochlear devices) and OptiTunes for Hearing, Speech and Vision Company, a workshop entitled “Cultivated Solutions for Treatment of Hearing Problems” was held at Al-Hourani e-Learning Center theatre on Tuesday, 11.11.2014. The workshop demonstrated the cochlear implant process, the quality of the beneficiary patients of this type of operations, the latest scientific developments in the field of cochlear implants, in addition to means of connection cultivated in bones, the quality of beneficiary patients of these operations and the latest developments in implants in bone.Two beneficiary patients of these implantations were hosted. Scientific debates about the benefits of these implantations and beneficiary patients were held during the workshop. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members at the University of Jordan and Jordan University of Science and Technology and by students of the Hearing and Speech Department.
