Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts a lecture on the risks of using mobile phones while driving

The Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in collaboration with the Traffic Institute, organized a lecture on traffic awareness for university students and bus drivers on the risks of using mobile phones while driving. The lecturer, Fouad Ma'ayteh, demonstrated, through presenting a documentary film and accurate statistics, the seriousness of this phenomenon on individuals and the community. Ma'ayteh noted that the use of mobile phones is not less dangerous than using alcohol while driving, which causes the loss of concentration and leads to dire consequences for drivers and others.
