Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts a Celebration for Children with Cancer Patients on Eid Al-Adha
In line with Al-Ahliyya Amman University directions related to the need to communicate and interact with community activities, create a university environment that supports student talents and extracurricular activities, and develop student social sense, the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted a celebration for children with cancer patients on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which was held for the third year respectively, in the presence of Ms. Rowan Khoury of King Hussein Cancer Center, on behalf of HRH Princess Dina Mired, Dr. Anaam Khalaf, on behalf of Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, around twenty children accompanied by their families and a group of the University students and volunteers. The ceremony was held in Nizar Qabbani Auditorium at the University and featured assorted recreational sketches with which the children interacted and which brought smile to their faces. The children took part in singing and competitions with volunteers and talked about their wishes on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. In the ceremony, the volunteer students were honored for their efforts and interaction with the local community. The Faculty of Nursing presented toys and games to the game hall in King Hussein Cancer Foundation. At the end of the ceremony, gifts were presented to the children.
