Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts a breakfast banquet for volunteer students
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, the University hosted a breakfast banquet for volunteer students in the Deanship of Student Affairs, Office of Career Qualification, in the presence of deans and Director of the Office of Career Qualification. The banquet was hosted in Tawaheen Al-Hawa Restaurants. This event is held to honor of the students who carry out remarkable extracurricular activities. HE Dr. Hamed thanked the students who had a distinct role in the success of the most prominent activities of the University, such as organizing annual career exhibitions and promotion of Injaz courses, and the projects, programs and workshops held by the Office with the support of volunteer student. Dr. Hamed also commended the students participation in many conferences, seminars, competitions, and projects such as “Recite to Elevate”, “My Environment: My Address”, and “Insight Light” projects. The volunteer students also had an effective participation inside and abroad Jordan through several projects dedicated to serving the community and several community categories, such as cancer patients, orphans, the elderly, patients with cerebral palsy, the handicapped, the blind, diabetics, and people with autism. The volunteer students were also instrumental in spreading the culture of volunteer work at the University. Honoring outstanding volunteer students is in line with the directions of the President of the University to support volunteering and volunteers from the University students and is part of the University mission and goals aimed at activating the role of students in extracurricular activities. At the end of the meeting, the students thanked HE Dr. Sadeq for this generous gesture of the University.
