Al-Ahliyya Amman University equips an integrated computer lab at Al-Salt Secondary School

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan, and the Governor of Balqa, Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud, inaugurated a computer lab in AsSalt Secondary School with the support of Al-Ahliyya Amman University on Tuesday, 11 April 2023, in the presence of the Mayor of Greater Salt, Eng. Muhammad Al-Hiyari, the Director of Education in the city of Salt, Mr. Khaled Al-Alwan, and the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, where the laboratory was equipped with integrated computer devices and a Data Show device, an internal network, lighting and complete maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure. Prof. Sari Hamdan pointed to the university's keenness to develop public schools within the smart government project due to its absolute belief that education is a real national lever and the historical importance of AsSalt Secondary School which is now celebrating the 100th anniversary of its establishment, stressing the pioneering role adopted by Al-Ahliyya Amman University in serving its local community. For his part, the Governor of Al-Balqa stressed his great pride in the presence of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the city of Salt, which connects Jordan with Palestine and constitutes the pulse of the homeland, stressing the continuous support provided by the university and its full cooperation with all sectors within Al-Balqa Governorate. In his speech, the Director of AsSalt Education Department touched on their pride that they are graduates of this ancient school, in they carry its memories in their hearts, stressing that this compassion instilled in all graduates of AsSalt Secondary School is the result of the efforts made by the school's teachers, who are elite with a high degree of dedication to teaching, sincerity, planting deeply rooted principles, removing social differences and strengthening friendly relations between all families of different religions. In the end, shields of thanks were presented to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, for this generous initiative.
