Al-Ahliyya Amman University discusses areas of cooperation with universities from the Netherlands

Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by the Vice President for International Relations and Quality and Director of the Global Engagement Center, Prof. Anas Al-Soud along with the Deputy Director of the Global Engagement Center, Dr. Fayrouz Abou Sweilem and Ms. Reem Abed, Head of the International Outreach and Reputation Department have met with five universities from Netherlands to discuss potential means of cooperation which came within the sidelines of communication between the Jordanian and Dutch institutions of higher education under the umbrella of Eramus+.The Erasmus+ Organization organized this productive and fruitful event where the following meetings took place:- Meeting #1:This meeting brought together Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Saxion University represented by Dr. Jan William and Dr. Lauren Miroff.- Meeting #2:Al-Ahliyya Amman University joined this meeting with the UAS Leiden University represented by Dr. Lieke Steger.- Meeting #3:Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Hauge University of Applied Sciences represented by Dr. Nora Dowd.- Meeting #4:Al-Ahliyya Amman University met with Leiden University, which was founded in 1575 represented by Dr. Katheren Smits.- Meeting #5:This meeting brought together Al-Ahliyya Amman University with Windsheim University represented by Dr. Rob Matt.This event included several discussions on the program funded and supported by Erasmus+ for the exchange of faculty members and students, joint scientific research, exchange of experiences, academic and research references, in addition to the possibility of developing joint academic programs, especially in the field of clinical psychology, hospitality management and culinary arts, digital business sciences, computer sciences, languages, Middle Eastern studies and allied medical sciences. It is noteworthy that Al-Ahliyya Amman University is interested and keen to establish cultural exchange opportunities for our university students while they are completing their educational journey in different specializations to be granted with chances to study a semester abroad in various prestigious international universities, which will allow them to obtain intercultural skills and experiences and to get acquainted with multiple educational environment.
