Al-Ahliyya Amman University continues its Ramadan charity campaigns to support the local community in Balqa Governorate

Embodying the pioneering role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in serving the local community and with the support and guidance of Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University and the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, the university supports its local community throughout the year, and this support intensifies with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan and the holidays of each year. The Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, conducts an annual charity campaign in Balqa Governorate, distributing food parcels to chaste families within the governorate in cooperation with local community institutions and sectors and charities within the governorate, in addition to holding Iftar celebrations for orphans and providing clothing for Eid Al-Fitr, with the participation of university students from various faculties. Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, Dean of Student Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Activities and Community Service, praised this good gesture made by the university continuously throughout the year, which develops awareness, deepens the sense of social responsibility among students, enhances their active citizenship, and urges them to extend a helping hand to those in need.
