Al-Ahliyya Amman University Celebrates the Tree Festival
As a representative of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sadeq hamed, the Vice-President, Prof. Suleiman Al-Lozi in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Majed Usaili, opened the University celebration of “The Tree Festival” which was attended by a large number of students.The celebration, which planted more than 400 forest and fruit trees in the University and its surrounding, is in line with the University policy that advocates preserving the environment, expanding the green area in the homeland and serving the local community. The festival, which beautifies the University and its surrounding areas, attracted great numbers of students.In his turn, the Vice President expressed his gratitude to the great cooperation and the active role of Engineer Raed Al-Adwan, the Director General of the Jordanian Forestry for providing the University with trees to celebrate this occasion.
