Al-Ahliyya Amman University Celebrates the 23rd Commencement Ceremony

At the beginning of the spring and summer semester 2015/2016, Al-Ahliyya Amman University has celebrated the commencement ceremony of the 23rd batch of graduates in the Arena Cultural Theatre in the absence of the late Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani, the University Founder, who passed away on the 11th of January, 2016. The ceremony was opened with the Royal Anthem and verses from The Holy Qur’an. Mrs. Inas Al-Hourani inaugurated the ceremony with a speech, in which she welcomed the gracious guests from the Board of Trustees, members of the academic and administrative staff, the students, and their families. She also expressed her condolence for the beloved late Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani and praised the graduates as well as their families on this occasion.Furthermore, Dr. Majed Al-Saleh, the Dean of Student Affairs, remarked that this occasion witnessed the graduation of qualified knowledge-equipped persons, who were disciplined by the best professors and received with care of the university administration, so that they would be able to pursue their life journey as loyal soldiers committed to their country. On behalf of the graduates, the student “Khaleel Khreis” delivered a speech in eulogy of the person who founded the university pillars and committed his life to enlighten the student lives. He also expressed his thanks to the University President and to the academic and administrative staff members, who paved the way for the knowledge. In the end of the ceremony, Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the President, handed over the certificates to the graduates.
