Al-Ahliyya Amman University celebrates Prophet Muhammad Migration Anniversary

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, Al-Ahliyya Amman University celebrated Prophet Muhammad Migration Anniversary on Wednesday, 2 Muharram 1432 AH, corresponding to 8/12/2010 in Hourani Auditorium. The ceremony was commenced with the Royal anthem, followed by verses from the Holy Quran. A lecture was then delivered by Dr. Amjad Qorsheh, Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Jordan. He introduced the audience to the migration of the Prophet and the lessons to be drawn from this journey. The lecture was well received by the audience. The celebration was attended by deans, heads and directors of departments and a large number of professors and students of the University. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Osama Al-Hanaina, Dean of Student Affairs, thanked Dr. Amjad Qorshed for the lecture which is ample with meanings and lessons.
