Al-Ahliyya Amman University celebrates its freshmen

Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a celebration to welcome the new students in the academic year 2015-2016, where the University president - Prof. Sadeq Hamed - welcomed the freshmen students, who have joined the University family, and wished them a University life full of success and excellence. Moreover, he expressed his pride to the University that has been supplying this country with promising youth to serve the country and the nation through the education provided for the educated youth generations since its foundation 25 years ago.During his speech, the University president explained that the next stage is required a high level of responsibility and collaborative work for developing the University, he added that the University will remain a guide, a torch of thought, and a pioneer in the field of scientific research development and community service. He also said that the University will work to keep up with all the cognitive developments, which aim to promote the process of teaching, and that it is very keen to develop its scientific programs and links them to needs of the local labour market and the Arab world. Moreover, he called the students to adhere to the University regulations and to focus on achieving excellence in academic achievement and to engage in the extracurricular activities provided by Deanship of Student Affairs, which contributes to formation of their personalities.In turn, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, welcomed the new admitted students to the University from inside or outside Jordan, noting the importance of the role played by Deanship of Student Affairs in the refinement of the student's personality and their preparation to face the challenges of the future, in addition to providing all appropriate services to them through various departments. He also asked the students to actively participate in the extracurricular activities organized by the University, added that the University's interest in its students comes in line with its philosophy to develop educational and academic aspects, and to build the student's balanced personality, which enables them to access the future efficiently and effectively.
