Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Al-Farahidi University in Iraq sign a memorandum of understanding

Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received in his office on Sunday morning, 13th of March 2022, Dr. Tarek Hafthi Al-Khayat, President of Al-Farahidi University in Iraq and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Professor Dr. Anas Al-Saud, Assistant President for Foreign Affairs and Director of the Center for Global Liaison.At the beginning of the meeting, the delegation was welcomed and introduced to the university as the first private university established in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its faculties and programs at the level of bachelor's degrees, higher diploma and master's degrees, while a memorandum of understanding was signed aimed at opening joint cooperation opportunities and strengthening relations between the two universities in several areas, including science, culture and education, in addition to paving the process of exchanging experiences, organizing lectures, seminars and conferences and conducting joint scientific research.For his part, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan confirmed the university's readiness and its initiative to pave the way for the establishment of a joint program with Al-Farahidi University for Iraqi students at the master's degree level in addition to seeking approvals from stakeholders, both in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq, after which the accompanying delegation presented an introductory video about Al-Farahidi University and its strategic position and available majors.At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged commemorative shields, while Professor Dr. Anas Al-Saud escorted the President of Al-Farahidi University and the accompanying delegation on a tour of the university to visit the faculties, facilities and vital departments and meet with some students at the university.
