Ahmed Abu Al-Saud Secures Gold in World Gymnastics Cup

Ahmed Abu Al-Saud, a member of the national gymnastics team and a postgraduate student at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the gold medal in the horse handle apparatus at the World Cup series held in Cairo. This victory not only adds to his accolades but also serves as a significant milestone as it is one of the qualifying tournaments for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Abu Al-Saud's exceptional performance saw him surpassing eight competitors in the finals, ultimately securing the top position on the podium. His victory was well-deserved, as he outshone renowned gymnasts such as Wong Hur from Korea, who took second place, and Nariman Kurbanov from Kazakhstan, who claimed the third spot. Professor Sari Hamdan, the University President, extended warm congratulations to Ahmed Abu Al-Saud, applauding his outstanding achievement and expressing hopes for continued success in his gymnastics career. Abu Al-Saud's triumph not only brings pride to himself and his university but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring athletes across Jordan.
