Addustour Cultural Salon Recalls the Late Artist Yasser Al-Masri and Thanks AAU for Offering the Scholarship on His Behalf

During the symposium organized by “Addustour Newspaper” on 30 \ 8 \ 2018 in its monthly “cultural Salon”, an atmosphere of sadness prevailed over the deceased artist Yasser Al-Masri. Tears of the speakers and attendees were mixed for this great loss. The symposium began by displaying a movie which included a collection of memories from the works of the late artist Al-Masri. The audience had stood for a minute to read Al-Fatihah on his soul and the homeland martyrs.The artist Nadera Omran, who managed the symposium, sheded light on the humanitarian aspects of the late artist and compared him to the late artist Osama al-Mashni, who preceded him in giving and death and who met him with the qualities of chivalry, talent and giving and early death. The AAU President, Prof Sari Hamdan praised the late artist and offered an annual scholarship for one of the members of the Jordanian Artists Association.
