“Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority Vision and Procedures” Symposium at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted Prof. Dr. Ikhalif Al-Tarawneh, Chairman of the Higher Education Accreditation and Institutions Authority, who delivered a lecture entitled “Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority Vision and Procedures”, in which he talked about the establishment, vision and objectives of the Accreditation Authority. Dr. Al-Tarawneh also addressed quality assurance standards adopted by the Accreditation Authority, the application for quality assurance certification procedures, the categories benefiting from the implementation of quality assurance, and the objectives of applying quality assurance in higher education institutions in Jordan. Dr. Al-Tarawneh tackled the Accreditation Authority achievements and future plans. In conclusion, Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, highly valued the information presented by Dr. Ikhalif Al-Tarawneh about the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority and upgrading higher education to the best level.
