AAU's IT Students Excel in Programming Contest

Students from the Faculty of Information Technology at AAU showcased their coding prowess in the 'Hour of Code Programming Contest'. Organized by the Department of Computer Science and supervised by Dr. Wael Toghoj, the competition was a platform for students to enhance their programming skills, boost logical thinking, and encourage healthy competition. Mohammed Abu Khas, a Computer Science major, clinched the first position. He was closely followed by Ayham Saifan, specializing in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, in the second spot. The third place was jointly secured by Omar Abdul-Hamid (Computer Science) and Yusuf Farwana (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence). In a gesture of recognition, Professor Qassem Khurma, Dean of the Faculty, congratulated the winners and awarded them certificates, applauding their dedication and outstanding performance. He reiterated the faculty's dedication to nurturing student involvement in diverse activities and contests, underscoring their importance in skill development and boosting job market competitiveness.
