The course was conducted in collaboration with Cyber Shield Academy and the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), and included participation from a select group of IT students. Spanning over 100 hours of hands-on training, the course provided an intensive and enriching educational experience aimed at enhancing students’ awareness of cybersecurity and equipping them with advanced technical skills.
Key topics covered in the course included:
• Ethical Hacking
• Penetration Testing for information systems and mobile devices
• Incident Response
• Digital Forensics
• Cyber Intelligence using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)

The course culminated in a final exam held last week at the Cyber Shield Academy headquarters, located near the University of Jordan. Students demonstrated outstanding performance, with all participants successfully passing the final assessment with high scores—reflecting their readiness and competence in tackling advanced digital security challenges.
This achievement stands as a testament to the students’ dedication and the rich, practical content delivered through the course, further reinforcing AAU’s role in preparing future leaders in the field of cybersecurity.
