AAU's Faculty of Law Clinches Spot for the Second Consecutive Time to Represent Jordan in Tenth Arab Moot Court Competition in Kuwait

The Faculty of Law team at AAU has secured its place in the Arab Moot Court Competition, hosted by Kuwait International Law School in its tenth edition. Following a victorious collaboration with Yarmouk University's Law School, our team emerged triumphant over competing teams from Jordanian universities, earning the honor to represent Jordan in this prestigious competition. Scheduled for April in Kuwait, the competition will host participation from over 30 universities across various Arab regions. This year's competition, organized by the committee, included national qualifiers for participating countries under the theme "Support for Gaza." Inspired by the tragic events in Gaza, the pleadings were crafted to simulate the trial of individuals and countries responsible for the aggression on Gaza before the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. The focus is on war crimes committed and the subsequent trial of those responsible according to international criminal law. The victory of AAU's Faculty of Law team in qualifying for this competition highlights the ongoing dedication of the faculty's administration, faculty members, and students in preparing specialized pleadings and honing essential skills. This success places the team at the forefront of qualifiers as they gear up for the upcoming round of the competition in the sisterly state of Kuwait. This achievement aligns with the Faculty of Law 's commitment to equipping students with the necessary legal skills for practicing law on both local and international stages.
