AAU Witnesses Distinguished Activities in the Open Day

The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan inaugurated the activities of the Open Day on Thursday, 25/4/2019. This event which was attended by a large crowed of students as well as members of the academic & administrative staffs and people from the local community included very interesting and diverse activities. The celebration started by lighting the torch of launching the activities accompanied by melodies played by the public security Music. Then the AAU President accompanied by a number of academic and administrative staffs toured the open day activities which included exhibits, charitable bazaars, performance of the Public Security Music and students’ sports activities. This event also included the participations of the Motorcycles Team; different restaurants; Shababeek Bazaar; the charitable bazaars of the AAU faculties; the Jordan Bubble; the AAU Marching Band; the University Choir; Umniah Company; exhibit for eco-friendly cars; a morning of poetry performed by a number of poets; the Autostrad Band and Escape the Room. It is worth mentioning that the organization of the Open day activities was initiated by the Deanship of Student Affairs as part of the University plan to participate in the social development and to communicate with the local community. At the end, the AAU President thanked all the participants in the Open Day and commended the efforts of the University students whose performance was great. Finally, the President handed souvenir shields to the Public Security Music Band and to the Drug Enforcement Administration for their distinguished participation.
