AAU Wins the Students’ Taekwondo Championship of Jordanian Universities

The AAU team won the students’ Taekwondo Championship of Jordanian Universities in the match which was concluded on Monday, 15 \ 4 \ 2019 at the Gymnasium of Al - Zaytoonah University. This championship was organized under the supervision of the Jordanian Universities Sports Union in cooperation with the Jordan Taekwondo Federation, which refereed the competition. The AAU team won the title after winning 3 gold medals, which were gained by the National Team stars Ahmed Abu Ghosh, Saleh Al- Sharbati and Zaid Al-Halwani. The University of Jordan team won the second rank after winning two gold medals and 3 bronze ones. It is worth mentioning that the sports activity at the University is greatly supported by the Chairman of the AAU Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Hourani and the AAU President Prof. Sari Hamdan.
