AAU Wins Second Place in Project Leadership Contest

Al-Ahliyyah Amman University (AAU) has won second place in the 2011 Project Leadership Contest in which public and private Jordanian universities and colleges competed. The students were awarded the silver prize for their Read and Move Ahead project, which aims to develop a distinctive youth culture. The project includes deploying libraries in buses, planes, hospitals, and developing special audio books for the blind , as well as an e-library on Face book. Leaders Salam Issam Abu Adass and Mohammad Omar Qasim, gave a powerful and leading presentation for their project, which won the admiration of the audience. The leaders expressed great joy to have won the prize which they consider as a win for their University represented by its president Professor Sadek Hamid who as always has supported the students in their endeavors to come up with innovated ideas for more distinctive projects.
