AAU Wins A Project Supported by the European Program “HOPES” Worth 60,000 Euros
AAU won a 60,000 Euros project supported by the “HOPES” Program which is funded by the European Union Program “Madad Fund” to strengthen Jordanian and Syrian students' competences in the areas hosting Syrian asylum.The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan said that such a project reinforces the University's pioneering role and its social responsibility in serving the local community at all levels. It is worth mentioning that the “HOPES” Program was launched last year in response to the Syrian crisis and aimed to provide Syrian and Jordanian students who live in the areas hosting Syrian asylum with the necessary skills to improve employment opportunities and to pursue their education.
