AAU Strengthens Collaboration with MSU Malaysia

On the sidelines of the QS Global Summit 2023, Professor Anas Al-Soud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, visited MSU University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Friday, November 10, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to enhance mutual cooperation with MSU University, ranked 37th in Southeast Asia, 155th in Asia, and 621st globally according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. Professor Anas Al-Soud received a warm welcome from MSU Malaysia's President, Professor Mohammed Shukri Ab Yajid in the presence of the University's Vice President, Professor Ali Khatibi. This joint meeting aims to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two universities, which began in 2019 and has resulted in collaboration in various scientific and research fields. This collaboration has led to joint research projects and the exchange of expertise with MSU partners from various Asian countries, including Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Korea, China, and India. This strategic encounter signifies a continued commitment to the enhancement of academic ties between the two institutions, contributing to the global collaboration landscape in higher education. MSU Malaysia annually hosts a number of students and professors from AAU in reciprocal scientific visits, fostering collaborative scientific and research efforts. MSU is consistently ranked among the top ten local universities in Malaysia and is one of the top three universities in the field of medical sciences.
