AAU Signs Three Employment & Investment Agreements
AAU signed three agreements that aim to strengthen the University partnership with the industrial and commercial sector on Monday, 28/10/2020. On behalf of the University, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the AAU President signed the first agreement with the ZKF for Smart Applications Company “the owner of the Warehouse & ZKF” represented by its president, Mr. Ahmed Hananda. This event was attended by the Director of AAU Public & International Relations Mrs. Enas Al-Hourani, Mr. Uday Faleh Al-Tawil, and Ms. Rawan Khoury from the ZKF Company. Many clauses regarding cooperation and real partnership in the first agreement were defined, as they aim to support starting up companies and community initiatives and to enhance job opportunities for University graduates.During this meeting, the University President Prof. Sari Hamdan welcomed Mr. Ahmed Hananda, who presented many community initiatives that serve Jordan and its youth. The AAU President assured that the University is keen on activating this strategic partnership, as one of the Company goals is investment and providing support, consultation and services to startups as it is in line with the vision and mission of the University for the next five years.As for the second agreement, it linked the AAU Center for Innovation & Excellence and the (Runners Jo) Company which is specialized in providing commercial services in all its forms, delivery services, coffee, drink and food services, in addition to all services connected with partner companies through supporting the online payment processes. This agreement aims to link the University with commercial partnerships with various sectors to provide immediate job opportunities for AAU students and graduates as well. On behalf of the University, the AAU Assistant President for Quality & International Accreditation and the Director of the Center for Innovation & Excellence, Dr. Anas Al-Saud signed the agreement with the (Runners Jo) Company representative and Director Mr. Mounir Barakat who is one of the AAU graduates. The third agreement was signed with the “MC” Real Estate Development Company, which owns the “Hagzi.com”. It provides a platform for booking various properties. One of the agreement clauses is employing a number of AAU graduates in this company, which has spread widely within a short period of time. On behalf of the University, Dr. Omar Abdel Jaber, the Director of the AAU Business Incubator signed the agreement with the representative and the Executive Director of the “MC” Company, Mr. Muhammad Majdalawi. These agreements come as an affirmation of the AAU endeavor to link all its academic programs with companies of commercial activities related to academic programs that create job opportunities for most University graduates.
