AAU Signs the Project of “The Rule of Law Is our Guarantee” with the Arab World Center for Democratic Development & Human Rights

The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan signed a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Samir Al-Jarrah, the Head of the Arab World Center for Democratic Development & Human Rights which is concerned with consolidating and developing the concepts of democracy and human rights. This agreement which was signed on Sunday 25/10/2020 aims to facilitate the implementation procedures of the project of The Rule of Law Is Our Guarantee. This project aims to improve the knowledge of the youth and the community members about the concepts of the rule of law, to build their civic skills, and to empower them to participate in the process of promoting the rule of law culture in Jordan. This, in turn, will build the young people, who learn from trainers who have undergone specialized training. It also will provide them with knowledge, skills and critical attitudes about the rule of law and will enable them to contribute to the promotion of the rule of law culture throughout the Kingdom. This lofty goal is in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision for the country.It is worth mentioning that the signing of the agreement was attended by the vice-presidents of the University and Dr. Muhammad Al-Thunaibat, the Dean of the AAU Faculty of Law, Prof. Baker Al-Abbadi and Mr. Mamoun Al-Shobaki from the Center.
