AAU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Al Mada Company to Enhance Academic and Training Cooperation
The Faculty of Business at Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al Mada Company to strengthen strategic partnerships and align educational outcomes with labor market requirements. The university was represented by Professor Muath Shbeita, Dean of the Faculty of Business, while the company was represented by Mr. Mohamed Bassam, Executive Director.
The agreement aims to expand cooperation between the two sides in practical training and student development, as well as the exchange of academic and professional expertise. It is expected to enhance students’ skills, improve their professional readiness, and strengthen their ability to successfully integrate into the labor market.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Maha Shahadeh from the Department of Financial Technology at the university, while the company was represented by Mr. Walid Mar’i, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Issa Ramadan, Co-founder and Head of Marketing and Sales, and Ms. Noor Mustafa, Marketing Manager.
Professor Muath Shbeita emphasized the importance of this agreement in supporting the university’s direction toward building effective partnerships with the private sector. He noted that the Faculty of Business is committed to providing an advanced applied learning environment that prepares graduates to respond to the rapidly evolving business landscape, including the integration of artificial intelligence into education, enabling them to compete at the local, regional, and international levels.
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Bassam stated that the agreement represents a strategic step toward strengthening cooperation between academia and the private sector. He highlighted the importance of investing in young talent and equipping students with advanced digital skills aligned with the rapid developments of the labor market. He also noted that Al Mada Company is committed to transferring its practical expertise to students and contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of innovation and competition in the digital economy.
