AAU Signs A Memorandum of Understanding with the Crown Prince Foundation
AAU signed a memorandum of understanding with the Crown Prince Foundation on Wednesday, 9/10/2019 at the Foundation headquarters in Amman. The memorandum aims to contribute in the development of youth programs and projects in several areas, including the implementation of initiatives such as the “DADD” initiative through which cooperation will take place in organizing the Arabic Language Olympics “Al-Ola” which will be held annually for students of Jordanian schools in AAU. The Olympics official Dr. Amin Iskandarani announced the date of the competition in March 2019. He also shed the light on the students’ participation and their efforts during the last year competition and the quality initiatives that affected the local community.Dr. Basem Marei, the Director of the AAU Hearing & Speech Center, talked about the “Hearing without Borders Initiative”, which opens the way for the referral of some cases that wish to benefit from rehabilitation after cochlear implants. He also mentioned the services that hearing & speech specialists provide which assist in preventing hearing impairment, early detecting of hearing impairment cases and in advising parents regarding the children rehabilitation in addition to conducting scientific research in this area. On behalf of the University, Mrs. Enas Al- Hourani, the Director of the AAU Public & International Relations Department signed the agreement with the Executive Director of the Crown Prince Foundation, Dr. Tamam Mango.
