AAU Signs A Joint Cooperation Agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Center
AAU signed a joint cooperation agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Center on Monday 13/1/2020 at the headquarters of the Center. This agreement aimed to exchange and to integrate the capabilities and experiences between the two parties.This agreement which was signed by the AAU President Prof. Sari Hamdan and Dr. Assem Mansour, the Director General of the Center covered several cooperative fields including the educational and training fields. According to this agreement, the cooperation takes place at the level of educational fields by implementing specialized medical educational programs and providing the staff of the Center with opportunity to join the courses and programs offered by the University in addition to building strategies for health information technology systems.As for the medical fields, the agreement provides the AAU students with the opportunity to train and practice in hospitals and centers affiliated with the King Hussein Cancer Center. Moreover, this agreement includes several areas of cooperation, such as establishing joint scientific research and providing technical and administrative support to both parties.It is worth mentioning that this agreement stems from the responsibility of the University towards community.
