AAU Signs A Joint Cooperation Agreement with the American Concrete Institute (ACI)

The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan received Dr. Randall Boston, the President of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the accompanying delegation. The meeting which took place on Monday, 18/11/2019 was attended by the Vice President, Prof. Michael Swidan, and Prof. Bassam Mahasneh, the Dean of the AAU Faculty of Engineering. In this event, a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the University and the Institute in the fields of engineering research and international conferences. Dr. Omar Ghazawi, the Head of the Engineering Department received the delegation during its visit to the laboratories of the Department of Civil Engineering. During this visit, the delegation met with a number of faculty members and students of the department who are registered as student members at the Institute. The delegation also visited the AAU Arena Complex and commended its equipment and contents. The two parties also discussed the possibility of holding the next conference of the Institute at the University.
