AAU Signs A Joint Cooperation Agreement with An-Najah National University in Nablus- Palestine

AAU “Jordan” and An-Najah National University in Naplus signed a joint cooperation agreement on Thursday, 24/1/2019 in the campus of An-Najah University. This agreement included areas of cooperation regarding exchange of professors and students’ visits, cooperation in the field of scientific research, institutional evaluation and quality assurance between the two universities. This agreement was signed during the visit of AAU delegation to An-Najah National University as part of its tour in Palestine and the 48 areas. On behalf of AAU, The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan signed the agreement with the Acting President of An-Najah National University, Prof. Maher Al-Natsheh. The signing of this agreement was attended by Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, the Chairman of the AAU Board of Directors, the Chairman of Al-Hourani Investment Group and the accompanying delegation, the Vice-President of An-Najah University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Amleh and the coordinator of the agreement between the two universities, Prof. Abdel-Nasser Nour. The presidency and officials of An-Najah University warmly received the AAU delegation. The delegation toured the campus and facilities of An-Najah University in the old main building and the new academic building and expressed its admiration for the distinguished level that the University achieved. At the end of the tour, the administration of An-Najah University hosted the delegation on a lunch at the Garden Hotel & Resort in Nablus. The two parties also exchanged gifts and memorial shields. It is worth mentioning that the An-Najah National Satellite channel conducted interviews with Dr. Maher Hourani and Prof. Sari Hamdan.
