AAU Signs a Cooperation Memorandum with Optimum Partners - Jordan
Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by its President Prof. Sari Hamdan, signed a cooperation memorandum with Optimum Partners - Jordan, represented by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Eyad Hammouda, with the aim of training students from the Faculty of Information Technology and refining their skills in line with labor market requirements. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Amer Hamdan, Head of Talent Acquisition and Strategic Partnerships at the company, and Prof. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University. The University President affirmed that the memorandum reflects AAU’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector to broaden opportunities for practical field training, enhance student competencies, and prepare them for market needs, noting that the agreement embodies the University’s vision of integrating academic education with applied and professional practice to serve students’ futures. For his part, the company’s Vice Chairman expressed pride in the collaboration and confirmed the company’s commitment to providing a hands-on learning environment that offers students opportunities to work on real projects and develop their capabilities, opening wide prospects in technology fields and giving them genuine competitive advantages in the job market. The cooperation covers the implementation of practical training requirements for Faculty of Information Technology students within the University’s laboratories and the development of their skills in line with global markets, in addition to training all University students on the uses of artificial intelligence as a core technology for professional preparation. It will also allow students to participate in real projects executed by the company, leading to genuine employment opportunities for outstanding AAU students at Optimum Partners.
