AAU’s Faculty of Agricultural Technology Participates in the Arab Forum on Water Scarcity and Management

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology participates in the first Arab forum on Water Scarcity and Management in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions, alongside Innovation for Sustainable Water Management. Represented by the dynamic duo of Dean Dr. Sobhia Saifan and Head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering, Dr. Rasha Al-Tarawneh, the faculty showcased its commitment to tackling pressing environmental challenges. This participation was at the invitation of the Science and Research Management at the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), in collaboration with the esteemed Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jordan. At the forum, Dean Dr. Sobhia Saifan took the stage to present a groundbreaking scientific paper. Titled "Utilizing Plant Genetic Resources as an Intelligent Solution for Water Efficiency," the presentation highlighted innovative strategies for sustainable water management.
