AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan Inaugurates the Learning & Teaching Center at AAU

The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, officially inaugurated the University Learning and Teaching Center in the presence of Prof. William Rando, the Executive Director of the Learning Center at the University of Chicago and Dr. Husam Kokash, the Director of the Center at AAU. On the sidelines of the official opening of the Center, the Professor held workshops titled How to Design Courses and Measure Learning Outcomes Related to Critical Thinking over three days for all faculties and academic programs at AAU. These workshops are part of the University's plan to raise the educational, scientific and practical efficiency of the faculty members. The workshops included interactive discussions and a dialogue that influenced and deepened the concept of quality and its importance in the academic programs of faculty members at the University. It is worth mentioning that the University's Learning and Teaching Center is the first of its kind in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Center is established in partnership with the University of Chicago which is ranked among the top ten universities in the world.
