AAU President meets members of staff at the Faculty of Business and Finance
Professor Sadeq Hamid, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) has met members of the Faculty of Business and Finance in the context of strengthening communication between the University administration and the faculties in various academic and administrative fields . At the beginning of the meeting the President thanked the Faculty members and expressed his pride in the great role the Faculty plays in providing the local and Arab world work force with distinguished graduates in the field of business and finance. The President also gave a summary of the administration’s orientations and future aspirations. First among the priorities is developing the educational process and achieving fairness among the students. Professor Sadeq also emphasized the importance of focusing on academic research because of its great role in upgrading the level of teaching. He further underscored the necessity to draw up a comprehensive plan to make it more responsive to the needs of the local and Arab work force by appraising the academic program at the Faculty and possibly opening new specializations at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A dialogue between the President and the audience followed afterwards which touched upon different academic and administrative issues. Finally, the dean of the Faculty thanked the President for this meeting and for his continuous support of the Faculty.
