AAU Participates in World Orphans Day

The Civil Engineering Department at Al-Ahliyyah Amman University (AAU) has participated in the World Orphans Day in cooperation with the Office of Career Development, King Abdullah II Fund. Gifts were handed out to 40 children at the Center, followed by a discussion of the programs offered to orphans and cooperation mechanism between the students and the Center. At the end of the visit, the Director of the Orphan Care Charitable Center presented the shield of the Center to the director of the Office of Career Development, the representative of the University. This activity is in line with the University policy to qualify students professionally, socially, and culturally. It also aims at developing the humanitarian and social sense of the students by making them effective members of society.
