AAU Participates in the Times Higher Education Summit “The Emerging Economies Summit 2019” Held in Qatar

Representing AAU, Dr. Husam Kokash, the Director of Teaching and Learning, participated in the Times Higher Education Summit “The Emerging Economies Summit 2019” in the period from 14 to 16 January 2019 held in Qatar.100 international universities and 125 speakers participated in the event titled Building the Impact of Universities through Flexibility and Innovation. The Summit tackled several key issues related to creating a competitive quality for universities and influencing the classification of universities internationally. Furthermore, the Summit focused on finding innovative solutions to contemporary problems and facing challenges in the university education sector. On the sidelines of the Summit, the possibility of academic cooperation and creating strategic partnerships with several prestigious international universities were discussed.
