AAU Participates in the International Conference on E-Learning in Portugal

Our university, represented by Dr. Maha Yaseen from the English Department, participated in the 19th International Conference on E-Learning and Digital Learning (ELDL 2025), recently held in Lisbon, Portugal, as part of the Multi-Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (MCCSIS). The International Association organized the event for Development of the Information Society (IADIS). The conference witnessed broad participation from researchers and academics from more than 23 countries, where only 26 full research papers were accepted out of 165 submissions, reflecting a highly selective acceptance rate of no more than 16%, which indicates the high scientific level and selectivity of the conference. During the conference, Dr. Yaseen presented her peer-reviewed research paper titled: “Hybrid Learning 2.0: Designing Sustainable Models for Post-Pandemic Higher Education in Jordan,” in which she addressed future strategies for hybrid education in the post-pandemic phase and proposed sustainable models that consider local particularities and contribute to improving the quality and flexibility of higher education in Jordan. Dr. Yaseen also chaired a scientific session titled “Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs),” during which she led a rich discussion on the role of digital platforms in advancing education and learning processes globally.
